From Kabul to the World
Founded on August 7, 2015, in Afghanistan, YCCO began as a response to decades of conflict that left young people, especially women, with little access to education, justice, or economic opportunity.
A small team of committed youth created YCCO to change this reality through capacity building, advocacy, and empowerment. What started as a grassroots initiative in Kabul soon expanded across provinces.
Over time, YCCO realised that these challenges were not unique to Afghanistan. Around the world, young people faced the same barriers to education, employment, and equality.
Today, YCCO has grown into a global platform, connecting youth, women, governments, and industries across borders. From a local niche to an international movement, YCCO continues its mission: ensuring that every young person has the skills, opportunities, and rights to lead change.
Vision
A world where every young person and woman has equal access to education, empowerment, and opportunities, enabling them to lead change and build inclusive, peaceful, and prosperous societies.
Mission
To empower youth and women globally through education, advocacy, and economic development. YCCO builds capacity, fosters leadership, and drives systemic change by connecting communities across borders.
